During the COVID-19 pandemic there have been some changes made to the practice and treatment protocol’s to maintain the health and safety of patients and myself.
I have performed a risk assessment of my practice and have ensured that the facilities are spotlessly clean.
Following the Government and my Governing bodies (GOSC) guidelines these changes include:
If you are unable or unsuitable to attend the practice for an Osteopathy appointment then an online or telephone consultation will be offered. Those that are shielding or have been in recent contact with someone with COVID-19, or, have symptoms of COVID-19 themselves are in this category.
I will contact you the day prior to your appointment to ensure that you are well and able to attend the practice.
I will offer you the option to pay in advance via a secure payment link sent to you via email or text. There is still the option to use contactless card payment on the day of your appointment. Unfortunately, I am not accepting cash payments at the moment.
I will be wearing full PPE (including face mask, gloves and disposable apron) which will be changed after every patient. I will also ask those attending for an appointment to wear a mask (provided) and to clean their hands with the sanitizer provided.
The treatment room will be cleaned between patients and the room will be aired.
When attending your appointment I will ensure that there will be a reduced risk of social contact with others by staggering the appointment times.
